Garage G&G Auto's ("we", "us") repairs and paints cars in Curaçao. This policy explains which personal data we use, why we use it, who we share it with and what your rights are.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details: name, phone and WhatsApp number, e-mail address and — only if you give it — your I.D. or passport number.
- Your vehicle: make, model, year, licence plate, VIN / chassis number, mileage and photos of the car and the damage.
- Repair records: estimates, approvals, work orders, supplements, invoices, payments, appointments, the Car Status Form at check-in, and insurance details (insurer and claim number) when an insurer pays.
- Membership: your member code, points, rewards, offers you use and the games you play in the member app.
- Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, e-mail, the website chat and our forms (quotation request, Online-Estimate, newsletter sign-up).
- Website: technical data needed to run the site. We do not use Google Analytics.
Why we use it
- To give you an estimate, plan your appointment, check your car in, repair it and invoice the work.
- To keep you informed — estimate ready, appointment, extra work found, status updates, ready for pickup, invoice — by WhatsApp or e-mail.
- To run the membership program (points, rewards, games) and your account in the Garage G&G app.
- To keep the administration and records the law (including tax law) requires.
- With your consent only: our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter.
WhatsApp messages
We send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform of Meta. Your messages pass through Meta's systems under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. If you do not want WhatsApp messages from us, reply STOP or tell us, and we will use e-mail or phone instead.
Who we share it with
Only with parties that help us deliver our service: Meta (WhatsApp), our e-mail and website hosting providers and — for insurance repairs — your insurance company. Suppliers only receive what is needed to order parts for your car. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Invoices, payments and the related repair records are kept as long as the law requires. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. The repair history of your vehicle (including photos) stays available to you and to us unless you ask us to remove what we are not required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Send an e-mail to repair@garagegg.com or ask us at the counter. We answer within one month.
Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. Repair documents and photos are private: they are only shown to you (through your personal link or the app) and to our staff.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
